The Mary Crane Center is seeking qualified candidates for the following positions:

  • Head Start Assistant Teacher
    Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from an accredited college with a minimum of one year of experience. And Level 2 Infant Toddler Credential OR 2 years of college with. 30 college credits, which 15 should be in Child Development working towards an associates. Assistant Teachers in the Pre-K classrooms are mandated to have 30 hours of college credit with 15 hours of Child Development.
  • Early Head Start Teacher
    Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development. OR Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development. OR Gateways to Opportunity Level 5 ECE and Infant/Toddler Credential
  • PFA Teacher
    Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education from an accredited college or university including required field service. Must possess a Type 04 Certification/Registered Professional Educator License (PEL) with early childhood endorsement.
  • Head Start Teacher
    Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development from an accredited college or university including required field service. OR Gateways to opportunities Level 5. ECE credential
  • Maintenance
    High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED). And 1 year related experience and/or training.
  • Teacher Aide
    High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED). AND A minimum of 6 credit hours in Child Development from an accredited college or university working toward earning 15 credit hours in Child development. Experience with children preferred.
  • Home Base Visitor
    Have a minimum of a home-based CDA credential or comparable credential, or equivalent coursework as part of an associate’s or bachelor’s degree
    • At least 2 years’ experience working with children and families in a human service setting.
    • Approach to working with families that is empathic, nonjudgmental, respectful, and professional.
    • Willingness to work primarily in the homes of families residing in high-risk communities.
    • Flexibility with respect to time and days able to work as well as to work tasks.
    • Active driver’s license and Car Insurance.
